Grant-making through our Club Foundation

Increasing healthcare worker capacity
Besides grants for community organizations, we provide at least five “Be Kind” scholarships each year for emerging professionals studying to become counselors, psychologists, and psychiatrists.
Additionally, we are the proud co-host of a Rotary grant project since 2025, designed to support youth well-being in humanitarian crisis zones. Caregivers (e.g. counselors, parents, teachers) access brief online modules and mock workshops to learn cutting edge narrative therapy techniques, including a digital app designed specifically for youth facing challenges.
This international platform was powered by a funding collaborative of Rotary Clubs and Districts, as well as nonprofit organizations working in humanitarian zones. Starting in the Fall of 2026, we plan to bring a version of this platform to Los Angeles to support recent fire disaster survivor youth and families in a similar way.
We will be sharing more information about this unique toolkit in the coming weeks; please check back here soon!
